Can I sue the state if I was injured in jail?

What can I do about getting hurt while being in jail on their beds? Can I sue the state? Or if they did not give the right medical attention?

If they deliberately withheld medical treatment in order to make you suffer, that is a violation of your civil rights. It's a tough case, though: the State gets hundreds of such claims every year and most of them are bogus, so the Attorney General's office fights them all and the courts require substantial evidence in order to give the claimant any credit.
